We are delighted to inform you that we have now been able to invite all patients 30+ for their first COVID vaccination. If you are in this group, or any previous groups and haven’t received an invitation please let us know.
In line with current guidance, all patients under 40 who haven’t already received their first vaccination will be offered the Pfizer/Moderna vaccine (whichever the vaccination centre receive). Those under 40 who have already had their first AstraZeneca vaccination will be invited for a second AstraZeneca appointment around 10-11 weeks after their first.
Following the latest update from the government and JCVI, those in the top 9 priority groups who have only had one vaccination will have their second brought forward from 12 weeks to 8-9 weeks. If you receive an invite to book your second vaccination please follow the link and do so. Any previous later appointment may have been cancelled. The team are working very hard to make these changes so please bear with them.
Those not in the top 9 priority groups will be offered their first vaccination when they become age eligible and their second will be given at 11-12 weeks.
