We are delighted to let you know that all patients in Groups 1-6 should have received an invite for their first vaccination. Please telephone the surgery if you are in one of these groups and haven’t been contacted.
The numbers vaccinated (first dose) as of today for Townhill are as follows:
- Group 1- Care Homes- 91%
- Group 2- Over 80s/Health & Social Care Workers – 95%
- Group 3- 75-79y olds- 94%
- Group 4- 70-74y olds + CEV- 91%
- Group 5- 65-69y olds- 92%
- Group 6- 16-64y olds & high risk- 72%
We are aware of national invites which have been sent to Group 7 patients (60-64y olds) this week. We do not organise the national invites and do not have control over these. If you are happy to travel to one of the locations to get your vaccination, please do so. If you would prefer to have it locally at The Westway, we will of course invite you when we have appointments available for our Group 7 patients. We hope for this to be in the very near future and this will be our next patient cohort, starting with eldest first.
