Coronavirus Update

Dear Patients,

We would like to remind our patients ahead of Thursdays new lockdown restrictions that we are still open and here for you in these uncertain times and will continue to provide services.

To help us protect you, other patients and our team we ask that you only come to the surgery if it is absolutely essential to do so or if you have a booked appointment. Please contact us remotely in the first instance by telephone, website or E-consult – www.townhillmedicalpractice.nhs.uk.

Should you have to attend the surgery please maintain social distance, use our hand sanitisers, and ensure you wear a face covering. We also ask that you attend alone unless a carer is required, and if bringing a child only one parent attends.

We are able to safely see patients face to face if our clinicians decide that the problem cannot be resolved remotely. All of our clinicians will be wearing appropriate PPE.

Non-urgent telephone appointments can still be booked up to two weeks in advance online. Appointments such as cervical screening (smear) and child immunisation clinics, are still going ahead, so don’t hold off booking in if these are due.

A prescription box is located at the front of the practice outside; please do not come into the surgery to request your prescription.

If you have any symptoms suggestive of coronavirus do not attend the surgery. Isolate at home and book a test as soon as possible.

We thank you for your continued co-operation and understanding. Stay safe!
