Oxted Carers Support Group
Oxted Carers Support meet at the Community Room, Eastlands Close, off Eastlands Way, Oxted on the second Tuesday morning of the month from 10:30 until 12:00.
We are very pleased to welcome to the Practice our Health Champions. There are 16 volunteers who are working alongside our staff with the aim of building on an already social and friendly community.
The Champions are able to advise you of the many services available locally and will be pleased to assist you with matters such as:
- The check-in machine
- Registering for our on-line services
- Using the blood pressure machines
Over the next few months the Champions will be organising some events and activities that you can join in, designed to meet new people and have a good time. The first event organised is a coffee morning being held every Thursday from 10:00-12:00 in the John Howard Room on the first floor. Please come along and join them.
We will keep you updated as more activities are organised.

COVID-19 remote monitoring support for older people with mental ill-health and their carers
The TIHM Monitoring Service is a new, free NHS service that is remotely monitoring the health of older people with mental ill-health and their carers during Covid-19.
The service, which is currently accepting referrals, is free of charge and available to people of any age diagnosed with dementia or mild cognitive impairment and people aged 65 and over who have a diagnosis of depression and/or anxiety.
